Pokémon Sword and Shield

Happy National Pokémon Day

So, I just realized that today was Pokémon Day, and I had no idea about it. And since scheduling a last minute livestream of Pokémon Sword/Shield seems like a bad idea, I want to do something else. So, I decided to do a little retrospective on what Pokemon’s meant to me over the years.

Sonic Runs to Box Office Success

Sonic the Hedgehog is a Good Movie

When I heard that Paramount was making a Sonic the Hedgehog movie, I thought it was a terrible idea. Then I saw what they made Sonic look like, I lost it like the rest of the Internet. Thankfully, the studio made the right call, delayed the movie to fix their mistake, and released it this week. Now, what once seemed destined to be a failure is the highest grossing film based on a video game in history.

Super Bowl Ad Mashup

May the Best Ads Win!

Another Super Bowl’s come and gone, and while I’m happy to see the Kansas City Chiefs win, I’m going to be honest. I never watch the Super Bowl for the game unless its my home team: it’s all about the ads. This year saw some really great ones, and some not so great ones (the nerve of Trump and Bloomberg). So, without further ado, here are my picks for favorite ads for Super Bowl LIV.

The Big Three Join Streaming Wars

For an entire generation of kids, the Big Three of animation were the ones who made the best cartoons on TV. As a result, the news of the trio joining the streaming wars was big news on social media. As a fan of shows made by all three of these entities, I couldn’t resist giving my two cents. So, I’ll be giving my thoughts and opinions on each company, their streaming service, and how I think they’ll do.

South Park

South Park Actually Banned in China

For many, getting banned by an entire country would be a big problem. For South Park to get banned in China for saying what they think, it’s just proving their point. And giving them more fodder to use.
