The year’s only half over, and so far, it feels like 2020 couldn’t end soon enough. Even with all the chaos going around, though, there are still some bright spots left in the world, especially for gamers. And it just got better yesterday, with Sony giving us our first real look at the next-gen console, the PS5.

The most striking thing about the PS5 is it’s overall appearance. Since the PlayStation 2 was released, the PlayStation has followed the same basic design aesthetics: blocky, black, and square. However, the PS5 seems to throw all of that out of the window and embraces the idea of looking like it’s from the future. It’s sleek, white, and signifies the next generation of consoles. Overall, I think it’s a major improvement over the blocky PS4.

Then there are the games that would soon follow the release. I’ll admit, I didn’t pay much attention to them. Except for one, that is.

I knew that we’d be getting a new Spider-Man game with the next generation of PlayStation. But never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that it would come out so soon! I’m buying the PS5 as soon as it comes out just so I can play this game!

So, the long and short of it is, I think that the PS5 is going to be an impressive console and that I can’t wait to get it when it comes out! But what were your thoughts on it? Let me know!

Dudes and dudettes, so far 2020 has been, like, bogus! First Australia was on fire, then that bogus Pandemic shuts down everything, and then the protests. Then these evil murder wasps show up and start, like, wrecking everything. This world needs something to unite the world and remind everyone to be excellent to each other. This world…needs the Great Ones.

THAT’S RIGHT, PEOPLE! Bill and Ted are coming back with their third big-screen adventure. Now, I’ve never actually the Bill and Ted movies (but I will this weekend!), but I know the premise: Bill and Ted, two simple but good-hearted dudes trying to become big rockstars. And their music ends up being so awesome, it unites the world and creates a utopian society in the future. Excellent!

There’s no denying it, people: humanity’s going through some dark times right now. People are at each other’s throats over so many things. If there were ever a time for two lovable slackers to unite everyone in the real world, it’s Bill and Ted.

What I’m trying to say is, we need this Bill and Ted film now, to help us get over all the bogus stuff we’re going through. I’m totally going to go watch it!

Yesterday, I talked about an annoucment that Hiro Mashima would be making regarding his latest manga, Edens Zero. While we have to wait for the next issue of Weekly Shonen Manga, this morning gave us this bombshell of a tweet.

I cannot tell you how excited I am about this piece of news. I’ve been reading Edens Zero from the beginning, and I knew that it was perfect anime material. Given how successful the adaptation for Fairy Tail was, it would make less sense to not adapt it!

Right now, there’s now word about when it will be released, or the seiyu’s for it. Or if there will be an English Dub, but God I hope so! However, I’m willing to bet that we will be getting more information about it in next week’s issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine. That, or we learn that Fairy Tail: 100 Year Quest is getting an adaptation, as well. Either way, Edens Zero’s popularity is going to go way up once the anime comes out. And you can bet that I’ll be reviewing every episode of it, plus the manga!

The best part to this news, though? When the anime does come out, I can officially add Rebecca to my list of anime waifus
