I know I do Edens Zero every week on my blog, but for some reason I was feeling lazy last week. So rather than do two separate blogs, this time I’m just going to do the two latest chapters together. In the last chapter of Edens Zero, Rebecca was subjected to a humiliating prank by Labilia with the false promise of getting her to the slums to save Shiki and Homura. In the end, they did get the help of fellow B-Cuber, Nino. Meanwhile, Shiki fires the opening shots on a war against the Scarlet Woman’s rule when he defies her enforcer Garret to rescue Homura.

The last chapter we saw Shiki and Homura get arrested by the Scarlet Woman and her enforcers and sent to the slums to work off a ludicrous debt. It doesn’t take them long to pick trouble with one of her enforcers, Whip Punisher Garret. Let’s see how this goes.
I came into this season having high hopes that this would be what would recapture the spark that launched SAO to international fame/infamy. After all, it’s the most extended story that Reki Kawahara wrote for SAO, covering almost ten light novels altogether. Then it turned into a dungeon crawl halfway through. With part one over, I want to review Sword Art Online: Alicization.
We’re at the mid-season finale of SAO: Alicization, and this will be my last review/recap until the show resumes in October; not waiting for the dub. Now, let’s get this mid-game boss fight started. Kirito vs. Quinella!
After week-long break, the latest chapter of One Piece is now up, and I must say, it’s a good one. We’ve seen how the Beast Pirates have broken the people in Udon Prison, in body and spirit. If anyone can reignite their will to fight, though, it’s Luffy.

In the last chapter, the Edens Zero gained an unexpected new guest in the form of the mysterious Captain Conner. Thanks to his incredible flying skills, they got to Sun Jewel in less than a day. That’s all well and good, but considering its reputation as the space version of Las Vegas, I’m concerned. I’m almost sure that Sun Jewel has a dark side to it.
