One Piece Chapter 972 Review/Recap I rarely ever come across situations where I have no words to start off a blog post. However, after reading this chapter of One Piece, … Continue Reading RIP Oden Kozuki
There comes a point in many stories or arcs where the hero hits rock bottom. Where things are at their absolute bleakest. As of this chapter, I think I can say that Edens Zero has become the rock. Rock, meet bottom.
Every now and then, they’ve got to deal with the quieter moments. In this case, we see Bakugo, Shoto, and some students from Shiketsu High take their remedial classes for their provisional liscences. Their first lesson: winning the hearts and minds of the people. By people, I mean a bunch of schoolkids.
One Piece Chapter 970 Review/Recap The more we’ve seen of this flashback, the more I’ve been wondering something: how did Kaido beat Oden Kozuki? Oden was probably one of the … Continue Reading So that’s How Oden Lost!
So, last episode of My Hero Academia saw the end to one of the biggest stories in the anime’s history. Overhaul loses the ability to use his Quirk, and Sir Nighteye died surrounded by All Might, Deku, LeMillion, and everyone else. What could one of the biggest shonen anime on the market do to top such an amazing arc? Apparently start a new one with a slice of life theme.
I’ve read most of Hiro Mashima’s works as a mangaka before. As a result, I think I can recognize a lot of recurring tropes his creations. Firstly, he likes doing a lot of fan service. However, there’s another trope that he’s used in most of his stories. What is it, you may ask? It’s where the main female lead has some big reveal about her past that will have an effect on the story going forward. I’m only bringing this up because that’s exactly what happens to Rebecca in this new chapter of Edens Zero.
Well, Roger, Oden, Rayleigh and everyone else did the impossible. They made it to the end of the Grand Line and learned the secrets of the world. However, this also means that Roger and Oden’s voyage must come to an end. As we reach the end of this momentous flashback in the latest chapter of One Piece, it’s time to brace for the end of Oden’s voyage.
One of the most anticipated fights in My Hero Academia has finally come, and Toho Animation manages to deliver. Deku unleashes One for All at full power in order to defeat the now-monstrous Overhaul, and it’s amazing!
As Oden continues to have the time of his life living abroad, back home, Orochi Kurozumi begins his rise to power. KUROZUMI!!!!!!!
One of the trademarks of Hiro Mashima’s work is his tendency to reuse the things he likes. Whether its a character design, a name, or concept, if he likes it, he’ll reuse it. The reason I’m discussing this is because the latest chapter of Edens Zero brings a certain group from Fairy Tail: the Element 4.
In this double whammy release of chapters of Edens Zero, Shiki heads to Drakken Joe’s home turf, Belial Goer, to stop him for good. This should be fun!
It’s always important for a shonen story to give focus to the supporting cast. In this episode, Red Riot bursts onto the public stage for the first time!
The battle for Sun Jewel’s over, and the Scarlet Women’s been sent to a fate worse than death. Even though Sun Jewel’s free, victory’s soured by the knowledge of Valkyrie’s death. Now Shiki must break the news of Valkyrie’s death. If anyone still doubts it now, I think this chapter proves for good that machines have hearts.
