One Last Campaign With the Clone Army

In the Season 7 Premiere of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Captain Rex begins to suspect that his friend and fellow trooper, Echo, may be alive and in Separatist hands. To get to the bottom of things, he enlists the aid of the misfit Clone Squad 99, AKA the Bad Batch.

This is so cool!

Star Wars the Clone Wars

Clone Wars Best Moments

Star Wars: The Clone starts on Disney+ tomorrow and I just realized that I never told you guys my favorite episodes from the show. That simply will not do. So, after giving it much thought, I put together a list of some of my personal favorite episodes from the hit show, along with an explanation as to why I liked them.

Clone Wars Final Season

Remember the Clone Wars

After months of waiting, the final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars is about to premiere on Disney+. So before I review it, I want to reflect on my experience watching the series during its run.

Marco’s A Harem Anime Protagonist

A running gag throughout the Star fandom is the fact that Marco winds up having a bunch of different girls attracted to him. Thus, he’s the subject to heavy shipping in the fandom. Starco, Jarco, Janco, Markapoo, Kellco, Higgsco! The guy’s like a harem anime protagonist. So, in this next fan-fic, we run with that idea and see how far it can go.

The Owl House Episode 5 "Covention"

I Love Coventions!

When Gus and Willow tell her of Bonesboro’s annual Covention, where students can learn all about the Covens they can join, she begs Eda to go. They end up going, and we get another piece to the puzzles of Eda’s past and the world of the Boiling Isles.

Super Bowl Ad Mashup

May the Best Ads Win!

Another Super Bowl’s come and gone, and while I’m happy to see the Kansas City Chiefs win, I’m going to be honest. I never watch the Super Bowl for the game unless its my home team: it’s all about the ads. This year saw some really great ones, and some not so great ones (the nerve of Trump and Bloomberg). So, without further ado, here are my picks for favorite ads for Super Bowl LIV.

The Owl House S1, Ep 3 Key Moments

Hogwarts is not on Luz’s Itinerary

The last episode of The Owl House taught Luz that she must be patient in learning the art of magic. Now we get to see her relearn that lesson as she sneaks into the Boiling Isles version of Hogwarts.

Guess What I’m Blogging Next Month?

I’m SO looking forward to blogging and review every last episode of the final season next month. No matter how long it takes

The Owl House S1, Ep 2-The Boiling Isles

Being the Chosen One’s Overrated

I’ve seen a lot of great stories that revolve around a special Chosen One meant to fulfill an important destiny. I think, from a cultural perspective, they’re meant to make everyone feel special and capable of being a chosen one. However, the last few years of TV seem to be going in the opposite direction, acting like prophecies and chosen one’s are bunk. Now The Owl House is following that route in its second episode. An episode which, I may end, seemed like a step down from the premiere.

Blood Moon Trilogy: A Star Vs. Fan Fic

To celebrate the fifth anniverserary of the show, I wanted to review a fan fiction for Star vs. The Forces of Evil that takes the topic of the Blood Moon and turns into a three book epic.

When Two Worlds Collide: a Star vs Fanfic

Remember that week of Star vs fan fiction I did a few months ago? There was actually another pick I had that I ultimately chose not to include. However, I’ve decided that this story’s just too good to not talk about. It captures the spirit of the show in writing style and in artwork. Not to mention I’ve become good friends with the author on Twitter. So, time to get a little weird and a little wild when two worlds collide!

The Owl House-Yardirf

The Owl House is the New Gravity Falls

So, after months of waiting and building of hype, is The Owl House everything that I wanted? Yes and no, but mostly yes. I know I said this about Amphibia, but The Owl House is also the next Gravity Falls.
